Embedded Software Test Engineer

In the role of Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating our clients' projects using various automated testing tools and data collection instruments. This includes creating test plans and test cases, analyzing requirements, building test systems, implementing Continuous Integration (CI), as well as performing debugging and debugging.

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, your role is to identify and fix errors in embedded systems. You will also be responsible for documenting and summarizing test coverage and defects. It is your responsibility to diagnose problems, communicate them and propose solutions to ensure that the system operates at a high level of quality. You will need to escalate complex bug reports to the development team and work closely with QA engineers and firmware developers to create effective testing strategies and plans. In addition, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the built-in aspects of the system are fully functional and free of defects.

We are looking for individuals with relevant industry experience in embedded software testing, from unit tests to system integration tests and CI. Candidates should have practical knowledge of tests and measurements on physical hardware and firmware, such as C/C++, Python, Robot Framework and Linux. In addition, experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Repo Tool, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Artifactory is desirable. Fluency in Swedish and English (both in speech and writing) is a requirement. Experience in any of the following is meritorious: Labview, CanoE, HIL, BLE and general experience in the automotive industry.
